Volunteer Agreement for Pateka e.V.

1. Rights and Responsibilities of the Volunteer

The volunteer has the right to carry out assigned tasks in a respectful and supportive environment. He/She commits to observing the following rights and responsibilities:

• Commitment to the Organization’s Goals: The volunteer agrees to respect and actively promote the values and objectives of the organization. He/She will always align his/her behavior with the statutes and guidelines of the organization and represent them in his/her activities.

• Responsibility for Tasks: The volunteer takes responsibility for the assigned tasks and carries them out conscientiously and to the best of his/her ability. The tasks must be completed according to the organization’s guidelines and in coordination with the respective project leaders.

• Confidentiality: The volunteer is obligated to protect all confidential information obtained in the course of his/her work and not to disclose it to third parties. This also applies to internal organizational information that is not publicly accessible.

• Cooperation and Communication: The volunteer commits to regularly and openly communicating with the designated contacts within the organization to ensure effective collaboration.

2. Responsibilities of the Organization

The organization commits to supporting the volunteer in carrying out his/her tasks and ensuring that his/her work serves the organization’s objectives. This includes:

• Support and Training: The organization provides the volunteer with all necessary information to successfully complete his/her tasks. It ensures that the volunteer has access to the resources needed for carrying out assigned duties.

• Reimbursement of Expenses: If agreed upon, the organization will reimburse the volunteer for incurred expenses, such as travel or material costs, following prior approval and in accordance with internal policies.

3. Termination of the Volunteer Service

Both the volunteer and the organization may terminate the volunteer service at any time with a notice period of one month. A written notice is required to initiate the termination process.

4. Validity and Amendments to the Agreement

This agreement takes effect upon the signature of both parties and remains valid until terminated. Any amendments or additions to this agreement require written approval from both parties.
